Richard Lee Bevington

Richard Lee Bevington 76 of Shelbyville, IN  passed away on Friday, November 20, 2015, at  his residence.

Born Wednesday, December 28, 1938 in Connersville, IN, he was the son of Oscar Melvin Bevington and Evelyn Beryl (Robins) Bevington.

Mr. Bevington married Carol Klene on April 4, 1970  and she preceded him in death.

He is  survived by  his daughters,  Shannon Jackson, Shelbyville, IN,  Sandy Stringer, Osgood, IN,  Debbie Linville, Indianapolis, IN,; sons, Mike Linville, Manassas, VA, Rick Bevington, Greensburg, IN, John Bevington, Greensburg, IN, sister - Joyce Wulff, Connersville, IN, brother - William Bevington, San Diego, CA,

Mr. Bevington  was preceded in death by his parents, his wife , son - Sean Bevington, and brother - Richard Bevington, .

He was a member of the Shelbyville community for 77 years.  Mr. Bevington worked as a produce manager at Kroger's for 25 plus years.  He was the owner of Shannon's Video Store in the late 80's and early 90's.

Visitation will be Monday, November 23, 2015 from 4:00 PM 8:00 PM at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, IN.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 24, 2015 1:00 PM  at the funeral home with Tom Sosbe officiating.

Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery Shelbyville IN.
