Reberta Ann Harritt

Reberta Ann Harritt, 71, of Fairland, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2020 at her residence.

She was born at the US Naval Base in Corpus Christi, TX on May 29, 1949.  She was the daughter of James E. Roth and Vida (Hammer) Roth.

She graduated in 1967 from Pleasure Ridge Park High School, in Louisville, KY.

Reberta retired after 28 years of service from Jenn-Air.  Her hobbies included painting, and doing crafts.  She enjoyed shopping and going down every single isle in the store.  She loved being at the beach and her trips to Anna Marie Island in Florida.  Her favorite times were spent making memories with her family.

She married her husband of 40 years, Tommy E. Harritt on September 20, 1980, and he survives.

She is also survived by her daughters, Carrie Macklin (Chris) of Shelbyville and Stephanie Ford (John) of Tompkinsville, KY., her grandchildren, Ashley Hunt (Autumn); Kiersten Macklin (Joseph Wilhoit); Mackenzie Hunt (Charles Burchfield); Carson Macklin; Journey Ford; and John Lukas Ford; her great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Burchfield, Kora Burchfield, Scarlytte Burchfield, and Baby Hunt coming soon; her sisters, Rebecca Ford (John) of Tompkinsville, KY; her brother, Ronald Roth of Nashville, TN., and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, JR Roth.

Visitation will be Friday, November 27, 2020 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

Funeral services will follow at 5 p.m. at the funeral home with Reverend Brandon Sutton officiating.

Funeral Directors, Greg Parks, Sheila Parks, and Stuart Parks are honored to serve Reberta's family.
