Raymond F. Brown

Raymond F. Brown, 56, of Shelbyville, died Friday, Feb. 29, 2008, at his residence. Born Sept. 9, 1951, in Shelbyville, he was the son of Charles W. and Helen L. (Eckstein) Brown. Survivors include sons, Jeffrey (wife, Randa) Brown of Shelbyville and Jeremy D. (significant other, Terry L. Harris) Brown of Indianapolis; granddaughter, Gabriella Brown of Shelbyville; brothers Charles "Willie" (wife, Mary) Brown and David (wife, Gwen) Brown, both of Shelbyville, and Steve (wife, Cathy) Brown of Rising Sun; special friend, Paula Scott of St. Paul; brother-in-law, Stanley Priddy of Shelbyville; aunts, Loretta Eckstein and Marie Wade, both of Shelbyville; and special niece, Nicole Debaun of Shelbyville. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Pam Caine and Theresa Priddy. Mr. Brown had been employed by Knauf Insulation since March 17, 1970. His hobbies were cars and scrapbooking. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Frank Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Lewis Creek Baptist Cemetery in Shelby County.
