Randy E. Tillison, 54, of Shelbyville, passed away Thursday, October 1st, 2026, at MHP Medical Center. He was born October 3rd, 1971, in Shelbyville to Larry Tillison and Glenda Jo (Shepard) Remy.

He was employed for several years as a landscaper and enjoyed spending time outdoors. When not landscaping, Randy enjoyed fishing. He was an avid sports fan, often watching basketball and football. Randy always made sure to follow the Colts and Pacers and was a fan of IU sports. He also loved racing, especially NASCAR.

Although never married, Randy spent 20 years with his life partner, Rebecca Elliot, and she survives. He is also survived by his father, Larry Tillison (Patricia); stepmother, Rita Hutcherson; daughters, Alyssa Weaver (AJ) and Aryanna Phillips; brother, Jeremy Tillison; sisters, Nancy Neeley (Craig) and Jessica Smith (Bart); as well as several grandchildren, aunts, and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Glenda; sisters, Amy Jo Tillison and Heather Dawn Remy; maternal grandparents, Lee Ellen Sheppard and Orval Sheppard; and paternal grandparents, Francis Ruth Corley and William Bill Tillison.

A graveside service in Forest Hill Cemetery will be announced soon.

Funeral Directors Greg Parks, Sheila Parks, and Stuart Parks are honored to serve Randy’s family.
