Polly Ann Ward, 42, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday, Feb. 3, 2014, at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis. She was born June 12, 1971, to Roy Jacobs Sr. and Pauline (Dixon) Jacobs in Puerto Rico. Survivors include her husband, Dean Goldman of Shelbyville; parents, of Shelbyville; sons, Jeffery Ward and fiancee, Ciara Wright, and Kyle Ward, all of Shelbyville; siblings, Roxanna Icenogle, Roy Jacobs Jr., Barbara Steele and Marcia Geiling, all of Shelbyville; granddaughter, Alayna Ward; grandson, Noah Settles; nephews, Devon and Dyllan Icenogle; and her dog, LuLu. Polly graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1990, where she played in the Shelbyville High School Band. She was a soldier in the Salvation Army. Polly enjoyed knitting and she participated in the Shelby County Fair in the Arts and Crafts division. She loved spending time with her grandbabies. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014, at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service & Crematory, 703 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Lt. Stephen DeLacy officiating. Funeral Directors Greg A. Parks and Sheila J.
