Paul V. Haymaker, 73, of Fairland, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2016, at his residence.

Paul was born Oct. 12, 1942, in Indianapolis, he was the son of Ira and Anna Haymaker. Paul married Patricia (Ewing) on Jan. 12, 1962. They were married for 53 years.

Paul is survived by his wife; three sons: Rick Allen Haymaker of Fairland; Randy Lee Haymaker and wife, Kelly, of Indianapolis; and Mike Haymaker and wife, Tammy, of

Fairland; granddaughter, Leslie Haymaker of Fairland; two sisters: Rita Tag of Shelbyville; and Lavon Sawyer and husband, Paul, of Indianapolis; brother, Johnny Haymaker of Arizona; sister-in-law, Carol Jaynes of Florida.

Paul retired as a service tech at Sears & Roebuck after 39 years of service.

Paul was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed working in his yard, especially mowing his grass.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 14, 2016, at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.

The funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Funeral Directors Greg A. Parks, Sheila J. Parks and Stuart Parks are honored to conduct the services for Mr. Haymaker.
