Patty Ann Richards

Patty Ann Richards, 75, of Fairland, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2020, at her residence.

She was born December 7, 1944, to Ernest and Patsey (Barker) Grizzle in Indianapolis.

She is survived by her daughter, Samantha (Lindel) Lindow of Fairland, her son, Edward (Jennifer) Richards of Boggstown; grandchildren, Dawn Eckart, Lindsay Lindow, Glenn Lindow, Austin (Jenny) Andrick, Latasha (Andy) Stickles; 4 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Margaret Wheatley.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Dawn Richards.

She was employed as a clerical worker for H&R Block, and as a beautician for many years.

Patty was a member of Fairland Baptist Church.

She enjoyed collecting baskets and watching old TV shows. Her greatest joy was from spending time with her family.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 18, 2020 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, February 20, 2020 at 10:00 am at London cemetery.

Funeral Directors, Greg Parks, Sheila Parks, and Stuart Parks are honored to serve Patty's family.
