Patricia A. Rupert

Patricia Areta Rupert, 75, of Shelbyville, died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2009, at her daughter's home. Born Dec. 23, 1933, in Sidney, Ohio, she was the daughter of Boyd Clyde and Augusta (Dowden) Argabright. She married John Edward Rupert on Feb. 1, 1950, and he preceded her in death on July 13, 1972. Survivors include sons, John Rupert Jr. of Indianapolis, Michael Rupert of Bargersville and Kevin Rupert of Shelbyville; daughters, Cathy Huffman of Greensburg, Teresa Hefner of Kentucky, Rita Perdue of Flat Rock and Sharon Bascovski of California; a brother, Roy Argabright of Anderson; a sister, Keitha Austin of Frankton; 15 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers. Mrs. Rupert was a homemaker. She enjoyed bingo, crossword puzzles, knitting and crocheting. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev.
