Patricia “Patty” L. McDonald, 63, of Shelbyville, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at her residence.

She was born September 17, 1962 in Rushville, IN to Leonard Cameron and Carmen (Ball) Cameron.

Patty enjoyed working as a manager at McDonalds and interacting with all the people there. Taking care of her son was her top priority, as he was the center of her world.

She married Gaylon Ray McDonald on December 4, 1996 and he preceded her in death on October 10, 2022. They shared 25 loving years of marriage together.

She is survived by her son, Joshua McDonald; sister, Bonita Cameron; brother, Michael (wife, Joanna) Cameron; nephews, Leighton Cameron, Kiefer Cameron and Dalton Cameron.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Christopher Forman and sister, Debra Remy.

Visitation will be Monday, June 8, 2026, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

Funeral services will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Levi Heck officiating.

Burial will be in Whispering Hope Memorial Gardens.
