Odas C Kaster

Odas C. Kaster, 78, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday, October 14, 2019 at his residence.

He was born October 4, 1941, in Shelbyville to Earl L. Kaster and Frances M. (Smith) Kaster.

He married Kay Kemper in 1962, and she preceded him in death in 1972.  In 1978 he married Margaret McClain and she preceded him in death in 2017.

Mr. Kaster is survived by his sister, Lois Anne (Melvin) Griffith of Shelbyville; son, Jeffery C. Kaster (Sandra) of Shelbyville; daughter, Debra L. Wyatt of Indianapolis; daughter, Robin R. Kidder (Ernie) of Maryland; grandson, Nolan C. Kaster, granddaughter, Jenna K. Kaster, and grandson, Nicholas S. Kidder.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his two wives.

Mr. Kaster graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1960.  He worked for several years as a machinist.

He was a former member of the Eagles Lodge.  He enjoyed drawing, painting, and listening to music.  His most precious times were spent with his family and friends.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, October 18, 2019 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Services, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, IN 46176.

Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Reverend Brandon Sutton officiating.

Burial will be in Blue Ridge Cemetery, Blue Ridge, IN.
