Neta G. Jones, 63, of Rushville, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at her residence.

She was born July 11, 1962, in Albany, KY to Joe Willard Johnson and Rena Mae (Hull) Hall.

She was married to William A. Jones. They spent 43 loving years together and were married for 40 of those years. She was a member of Blue Ridge Christian Union Church and loved the Lord. She worked as a convenience store clerk for many years but her favorite job was being a homemaker. Her love for her family was evident through her years of dedication.

She is survived by her husband; daughter, Crystal (husband, Anthony) Popp; son, Bobby (wife, Glenda) Jones; granddaughters, Brianna Popp, Malia Popp and Addison Jones; grandsons, Anthony Popp, Jr., William Popp and Waylon Popp.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Rena Hall.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be Sunday, April 12, 2026, from 5 pm to 7 pm at Blue Ridge Christian Union Church, 466 S. 775 E., Shelbyville, IN 46176 to celebrate Neta’s life.

Inurnment will take place at Forest Hill Cemetery at a later date.
