Michael L Johnson

Michael L. Johnson, 44, of Shelbyville, entered into eternity on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012, to meet his Heavenly Father. Michael was born Aug. 17, 1968, in Indianapolis. He moved to Shelbyville in 1979. He had resided in Shelbyville under the care of loving staff members of the Heritage House Children's Center, The Haven Center and Especially Kidz Health and Rehab Center. He grew into a strong and handsome young man. He attended Shares Life Skills program in recent years. He is remembered for his strength and gregarious personality. Michael is survived by many who loved and cared for him and his devoted guardian. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service & Crematory, 703 S. Harrison St. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Father John Maung officiating. Burial will be at Whispering Hope Memorial Gardens.
