Melody Lynn Sandefur, 68, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday, January 6, 2020 at her residence.

She was born November 16, 1951 in Marion County to Paul Wiley and Patricia (Woods) Wiley.

She is survived by her daughters, Traci Lea Walden and Tiffany A. Wilson, both of Shelby County;  grandchildren, Jordan Pierce and Jakob Rivera; 3 great-grandchildren and brother, Richard Wiley.

Melody was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Marsha Lee Sager.

She was a homemaker and had a deep love for animals.  She also enjoyed collecting antiques.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 16, 2020 at Van Pelt Cemetery with Pastor Merry Popplewell officiating.

Funeral Directors, Greg Parks, Sheila Parks, and Stuart Parks are honored to serve Melody's family.        Memorial contributions may be given to the Shelby County Animal Shelter, 750 Hale Road, Shelbyville, IN 46176.
