Melissa Yvonne Lyon

Melissa Yvonne Lyon, 27, of Shelbyville died Monday, April 27, 2009, at Especially Kidz Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born July 24, 1981, in Greenfield, she was the daughter of Lawrence Lee "Larry" Lyon and Neva (Fenner) Rhyne. Survivors include her mother of Indianapolis; father of Indianapolis; brother, Matthew Vincent Lyon of Indianapolis; and grandparents, Dale C. and Marjorie Fenner and Eva Lyon, all of Indianapolis. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Merlin Lyon. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Friday in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, 9700 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis. Memorial contributions may be made to the Melissa Y.
