Matthew Levi Waldschmidt

Matthew Levi Waldschmidt, 35, of Shelbyville, passed away Friday, July 17, 2020 at his residence.

He was born August 7, 1984 in Shelby County, to Michael A. and Marjorie Anne Waldschmidt.

Matthew married Natalie (Herriott) Waldschmidt on April 12, 2018, and she survives.

He is also survived by his children, Ragan Waldschmidt, Evelyn Waldschmidt, Harrison Waldschmidt, Zoe Hedrick, and Jaxon Hendrick, his siblings, Christian Waldschmidt, Jessica Kredit, Hannah Bradberry, and Naomi Waldschmidt, and his nieces and nephews.

Matthew was a customer service representative at Whatever It Takes Transmission Parts.

He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and astronomy.  He was a musician and enjoyed singing and playing the guitar.  His greatest pleasure was spending time with his family and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 22, 2020 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m, at Crossroad Community Church,

475 E. Progress Parkway, Shelbyville, IN 46176

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 23, 2020 at the church with Pastor Mark Morningstar officiating.

Burial will be in Miller Cemetery.

Funeral Directors, Greg Parks, Sheila Parks, and Stuart Parks are honored to serve Matthew's family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the education fund for his children, in care of Murphy-Parks Funeral Services.
