Mary Lynn Sullivan, 77, of Edinburgh, passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Johnson Memorial Hospital.

She was born February 3, 1944 in Shelby County to Loren Rockefeller Parker and Mary Kathryn (Shutt) Parker.

Mary Lynn graduated from Southwestern High School in 1962.  She was a member of United Methodist Church.  Mary Lynn was owner and operator of The Pool Store from 1985 to 2013, and she continued to work there for many years.   She was dedicated to her family business.

She was a huge sports fan and loved to play softball for many years.  Mary Lynn loved to watch the Southwestern Spartans play basketball, as well as watching I.U. and the Indiana Pacers.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and loved ones.

She married William Patrick Sullivan on July 1, 1967, and he preceded her in death on March 16, 2019.

Mary Lynn is survived by her son Mike (Susan) Sullivan of Shelbyville; her granddaughter, Cortnee (Tim) Hancock of Knightstown; her grandson, Colin (Olivia) Sullivan of Morristown; her great-grandchildren, Caydenn, Lyla, Karter, Annabelle, Frankie, Shiloh, Hazel and Shoni, and several nieces and nephews.

Mary Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brother, Keith Parker; and her sisters, Carol Pettit, Marcia Kay Snyder and Nancy Parker.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to Noon, Friday, July 23, 2021 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

Funeral services will follow at Noon at the funeral home with Pastor Bruce Banister officiating.

Burial will be in Miller Cemetery.
