Mary E. Hauk, 91, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday, March 9, 2026, at Morristown Manor in Morristown Indiana.

She was born July 10, 1934, in Napoleon, IN to Daisy (Foster) Wainscott.

She married Jack E. Hauk on July 31, 1953, and he preceded her in death in December of 2008.

Mary was Dr. Dalton receptionist for many years. In her pastime she enjoyed being outside enjoying Mother Nature activities. The family will cherish all the memories they created during their family camping trips. The times she has spent with her children and grandchildren always brought smiles to her face and her heart.

She is survived by her daughter Terri Cover and son David Hauk; 3 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her son, Kenny Hauk.

A Graveside service will be held on Thursday March 12, 2026, at 10:00AM at Miller Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be given to Shelbyville Animal Shelter or Morristown Manor.
