Mary Corley, 84, of Shelbyville passed away February 28, 2022 at MHP Medical Center.

She was born January 30, 1938 in Shelbyville to Chet and Alice (Dake) Corley.

Mary was employed in her early years at G.E. before they closed.

Mary was the wife of the late John Schearer.

She is survived by her sons, Timothy Shearer of Franklin, Jeffery Shearer of Shelbyville, Mark Shearer of Indianapolis, and Brian (wife, Jackie) Shearer of Shelbyville, her grandchildren, Shelby, Joshua, Jessica, Hannah, Sarah, Zachary, and Jenna; 1 great-grandchild, and her brother, Norman Corley.

Mary was the youngest of 13 children.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by 11 of her siblings, and her son, Jon Shearer.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m, Thursday, March 3, 2022 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Friday, March 4, 2022 at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
