Martha A. Davidson

Martha A. Davidson, 63, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at Franciscan St. Francis Health, Indianapolis.

She was born July 5, 1950, in Shelbyville, to Addis and Hattie (Johnson) Burchett. She married Rickey A. Davidson on Jan. 15, 1988, and he survives.

Other survivors include son, Brian Poole; daughter, Anniece Hacker of Arizona; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nephews William and Jeremiah Aulby; and niece Regina Smith, son-in-law Matt Flannery

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Richard Poole; two brothers; and two sisters.

Martha was a homemaker. She enjoyed camping, Colts football, the Indiana Pacers and NASCAR racing.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. today, Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, with the Rev. Robert Prather officiating.

Burial will be at Whispering Hope Memorial Gardens, Shelbyville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Funeral Directors Greg A. Parks, Sheila J. Parks and Stuart Parks are honored to conduct the services for Mrs. Davidson.
