Marian Louise Gaines

Marian Louise (Campbell) Gaines, 100, passed away March 18, 2020 at the Opal, an assisted living Facility in Cape Coral, Florida.

She was the daughter of William and Fern (Poe) Campbell of Shelbyville.

Louise married Woodrow (Woody) Gaines on May 6, 1939.  He preceded her in death on July 28, 1996.

Woody and Louise had three children, Larry (Gloria); Lynda (Lynn); and Tom, deceased, nine grand-children and six great-grandchildren.

There were eight siblings, all deceased, except for Mary and Barbara Campbell of Shelbyville.

Louise was a talented seamstress, decorator, and loved tilling in her many flower beds.

A private graveside service will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
