Margaret "Joanie" Mckinney

Margaret "Joanie"  Mckinney, 50 of Indianapolis, IN passed away on Wednesday, December 07, 2016, at her Residence. She was born on October 12, 1966 in Shelbyville, IN, She was the Daughter of Joseph Elliott and Ida (Perkins) Elliott. Margaret "Joanie" married George Mckinney on September 26, 1987 and he survives. Margaret "Joanie" is survived by: Sons; Bryant Mckinney, Indianapolis, Jacob Mckinney, Greensburg,  Grandchildren Justin and Jacob, Brothers: Thomas Elliott, Shelbyville, Paul Elliott, Morristown,  Sisters: Brenda Frogge, Tell City, Elizabeth Myers, Tell City, Virginia Hellums, Tell City, Christine Tillison, Morristown, Rebecca  Elliott, Shelbyville, Naomi Elliott, Shelbyville. She enjoyed sewing as her favorite past time.  Her grandchildren were the joy of her life.  Being around family and friend was important to her.

Visitation will be Monday, December 12, 2016 from  4:00 PM to7:00 PM at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 13, 2016 10:00 AM  at the funeral home. Burial will be in Whispering Hope Memorial Gardens Shelbyville IN. 625 Progress Parkway Shelbyville, IN Memorials may be given to  Margaret "Joanie" memorial to help pay for her funeral expenses.
