Margaret I. Kaster

Margaret I. Kaster, 75, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at her residence.

She was born May 22, 1942 in Marion County, IN. She was the daughter of Thomas I. McClain and Gladys (Henderson) McClain.

Margaret married Odas C. Kaster on October 3, 1978 and he survives. They were married for 39 years.

She is also survived by her son, Roddy L. Moore, Sr. (Sue); daughter, Jean Sullivan; and step-son, Jeffery Kaster (Sandy), all of Shelbyville; step-daughters, Debra Wyatt of Indianapolis, and Robin Kidder (Ernie) of Maryland; 7 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild; sister, Lilian Crisp and sister-in-law, Mildred McClain, both of Shelbyville.

Mrs. Kaster was preceded in death by her parents; son, Charles Daniel Moore; 2 brothers, and 3 sisters.

She was a lifelong homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her family. She loved watching Game Shows on TV.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m at Murphy-Parks Funeral Services, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Reverend Brandon Sutton officiating.

Burial will be in Blue Ridge Cemetery, Blue Ridge, IN.
