Lois Scroggham

Lois Scroggham, 82, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday, December 7, 2020 at Brandywine Golden Living in Greenfield.

She was born March 3, 1938 in Decatur County, IN to George Benefiel and Bessie (Brunner) Benefiel.

Lois attended the Church of God.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed crafting, and doing anything with her hands, including coloring.  She enjoyed the outdoors and collecting cardinal memorabilia.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.

She married William H. Scroggham on August 15, 1962 and he preceded her in death on May 10, 1998.

Lois is survived by her children, Tammy Sturgill (David); Billy Scroggham; all of Shelbyville, and Paula Gray (Scott), of Lapel; 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, her son-in-law, Columbus Campbell, and her twin sister, Freda Bartlett of Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughters, Diane Perigo, and Patty Campbell, 4 sisters, and 6 brothers

Visitation will be Thursday, December 10, 2020 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Friday, December 11, 2020 at the funeral home with Robert Prather officiating.

Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
