Linda Davis

Linda Davis, 68, of Shelbyville passed away Friday, October 15, 2021 at MHP Medical Center.

She was born June 13, 1953 in Glasgow, KY to Charles T. Smith and Hazel (Bryant) Smith.

Linda was an LPN.  She enjoyed going to church when her health allowed her.  She loved taking pictures and putting together scrapbooks.  She also enjoyed watching crime dramas.  Linda was an avid animal lover, especially her personal pets, Sophie, Ginger, and Bella.  She was a bargain shopper and loved going to Goodwill to shop around.  Her most precious times were spent with her grandbabies and family.

She married Rickey H. Davis on March 21, 1975, and he survives.  She is also survived by her sons, Steven Hamner (Tim Grino), and John Hamner (Amy), her daughters, Michelle Roser (Ryan), Patricia Aldrich (Tim), and Stacey Crover (Mikael), her grandchildren, Ross Montgomery, Mikyla Montgomery, Toby Hamner, Nicholas Hamner, Madysen Pankey Cheyeanna Aldrich, Aleah Aldrich, Amber Hoots, Kayleb Hoots, and Elizabeth Crover, her great-grandchildren, Journey, Tegan, Ametyi, Crimson, Evelyn, Damion, Ryet,  Zarya, and Marcello, her brother, Tom Smith (Sherry), her sister, Barbara Smith, her brothers, Chester Smith (Liz), and Richard Smith (Bev).

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Bobby Smith, and her mother-in-law, Marlene Skinner.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m, Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Friday, October 22, 2021 at Sego Funeral Home, 114 W. South Street, Munfordville, KY.

Burial will be in Concord Cemetery with Reverend Phillip Knight officiating.
