Leslie L. Hammer, 68, of Indianapolis died Jan. 29, 2011, at Wishard Hospital in Indianapolis. Born March 28, 1942, in Connersville, he was the son of Alvin L. and Corrina (Carroway) Hammer. Survivors include sons, Tracy L. (wife, Angie) Hammer and Terry (wife, Debbie) Hammer; sisters, Hazel Oliver and Shirley Hammer of Indianapolis; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Bobby Hammer and Charlie Hammer. A private family service was held Wednesday, with the Rev. Edwin Mohr officiating.
