Laura Ann Lyons, 89, passed away peacefully at Ashford Place on Monday, February 19, with family beside her.

She was the daughter of Ed and Mary J. Montgomery, wife of Paul A. Lyons, mother of Paula B. Branson, who all preceded her in death.  She had 3 sisters, and 1 brother also deceased.

She graduated from Fairland High School and was a member of Kappa Delta Phi.  She worked in physicians' offices and the Inlow Clinic for years until lastly employed at the Bradley Group.

She enjoyed her family and friends, travel and her beloved dogs.

She is survived by her son, Kent Lyons, wife Janey; grandchildren, Amanda Morris and Ryan Branson; great grandkids, Quinton Fannin, and Kaleb Moorhead; and 3 great-great grandkids, Nicholas, Bryleigh and Brentley.

The family expresses a special thank you to Our Hospice for assisting Annie and her family.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 22, 2018 from 10 a.m. to Noon at Murphy-Parks Funeral Services, 703 S. Harrison St, Shelbyville.  Funeral services will follow at noon at the funeral home with Reverend Brandon Sutton officiating.

Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
