Kory Dale Chappelow

Kory Dale Chappelow, 33, of Shelbyville, died Thursday, Jan. 9, 2009. Born Feb. 18, 1975, In Shelbyville, he was the son of John Patrick Chappelow and Debra Jean (Fewell) Harter. Survivors include his mother and step-father, Gary Edward Harter, of Shelbyville; son, Tristan Chappelow of Greenfield; daughter, Kilee Hope Chappelow of Greenfield; grandmother, Viola Fewell of Shelbyville; and the mother of his children, Dana Chappelow of Greenfield. He was preceded in death by his father and grandfather, Charles Fewell. Mr. Chappelow had worked in general maintenance and did electrical repair. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping and hunting. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Frank Smith officiating. Burial will be in Wray Cemetery in Shelby County. Memorial contributions may be made to the Tristan and Kilee Chappelow Education Fund, in care of Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S.
