Kevin Richard Olson, 53, of Waldron, passed away Sunday, Nov. 23, 2014, at his residence.

He was born March 18, 1961, to Donna Higgins in Los Angeles, California. He married Pamela S. (Gahimer) Olson on July 8, 1994, and she survives.

Other survivors include his daughter, Hannah Olson of Waldron; brother, Mike Olson and wife, Maru, of Waldron; nieces and nephews, Carmen, Jessie, Shelby and Eli Olson; and several other nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his uncle, Victor Higgins; and his grandparents, Victor and Gladys Higgins.

Mr. Olson worked in law enforcement with the Decatur County Sheriff's Department.

He enjoyed life with his family and close friends.

No public services will be observed.
