Kenneth R. "Bud" Walsman, 54, of Shelbyville died Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011, at Major Hospital. Born Nov. 26, 1957, in Batesville, he was the son of Robert and Barbara (Vierling) Walsman. Survivors include his mother of Shelbyville, brothers, Rick Walsman and Tim Walsman, both of Shelbyville, and Randy Walsman of Indianapolis; and sisters, Jeannie Walsman, Kandus Walsman, Patty Elliott and Tammy Morgan, all of Shelbyville, Brenda Williams of Fairland and Judy Walsman of Franklin. He was preceded in death by his father. Mr. Walsman had worked in construction. Kenneth enjoyed fishing and watching basketball and football. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service and Crematory, 703 S. Harrison St. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Robert Prather officiating. Burial will be at Whispering Hope Memorial Gardens.
