Kelly L. Fricke, 59, of Shelbyville, passed away Tuesday March 28, 2023 at her residence.

She was born February 23, 1964 in Shelbyville, IN. to Asha Louis Smith and Rita (Purcell) Smith.

Kelly attended Shelbyville High School.

She was employed at Ivy Tech and was a Professional Janitor.

Kelly loved her children and was an amazing mother and grandmother. Kelly had a green thumb and loved gardening and always had lots of plants.  Outdoors is where she loved to be.

She married Dwayne E. Fricke on August 21, 1980 and he preceded her in death on February 15, 2018.

Kelly is also survived by her daughters, Donna Farmer (husband, Eric), Wendy Keppel (husband, John), Amanda Hahn (husband, Ryan); sons, Matthew Fricke (wife, Amanda), James Fricke (wife Christina); 20 grandchildren; sisters, Gina Purcell, Peggy Dixon; brother, Robert Smith.

She is preceded in death by husband and father.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 a.m. to noon on Monday April 3, 2023 at First Church of God, 1815 S. Miller St., Shelbyville, IN. 46176

Funeral services will follow at noon Monday, April 3 at the church with Pastor Bryan Justice officiating.

Burial will be in Whispering Hope Memorial Gardens, 625 Progress Rd. Shelbyville IN.
