Katherine Hendrickson, 85, of Shelbyville passed away on Friday, Nov. 4, 2011, at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility in Columbus. Born April 19, 1926, in Shelby County, she was the daughter of George and Cora (Smith) Comstock. She married Morgan Hendrickson, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 1, 1972. Survivors include son, Jeff Hendrickson of Shelbyville; daughter, Rebecca Carroll of Nashville, Tenn.; and several grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by her parents and sons, Morgan R. Hendrickson Jr. and Roger Hendrickson. Katherine was an avid reader of the Bible and liked to work her crossword puzzles. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service and Crematory, 703 S. Harrison St. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
