John D. Williams Jr.

April 17, 1965 — July 28, 2022

John D. Williams Jr., 57, of Shelbyville Indiana, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2022 at his home.

He was born April 17, 1965, to John D. Williams Sr. and Norma Jean (Baker) Williams.

He married Belinda G. (Nevitt) Williams on June 11, 1988 and she survives.

John is also survived by his sister, Judy Mica, several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

He is preceeded in death by his parents, sister, Kay Merchant, brother, Joe Williams, sister, Ruthie Payne and a niece.

John attended Santa Fe High School in Santa Fe, Texas.

He was a member of Crossroad Community Church and the Eagles Lodge No. 766. John loved to go fishing and being outdoors. He enjoyed eating seafood and watching the Colts play football. He also enjoyed watching westerns; his favorites were the ones with John Wayne.

Visitation will be held from 10am until noon Friday, August 5, 2022 at Crossroad Community Church, 475 E. Progress Pkwy. Shelbyville, IN. 46176.

A Celebration of Life will follow at noon at Crossroad Community Church with Pastor Andy Lee officiating.

Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery; Edinburgh, Indiana.

Funeral Directors, Greg Parks, Sheila Parks, Stuart Parks, and Darin Schutt are honored to serve John's family.
