John Michael Vermeulen

John Michael Vermeulen, 57, died on December 15, 2021, in Shelbyville, Indiana. John was born on June 20, 1964, in Connersville, Indiana, and was a 1982 graduate of Whiteland Community High School.  He graduated from Vincennes University in 1984 with a degree in journalism. He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by three brothers, seven nieces and nephews, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. John was a member of Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.  He worked for the Daily Journal, Sears, and the U.S. Postal Service. A private memorial service will take place at a later date.
