John David Goble, 63, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday, June 29, 2026, at his residence.

He was born May 26, 1963, in Shelbyville, IN to Larry Goble and Marlene Kay Goble.

John attended Shelbyville High School and lived in this area for most of his life. He was a factory worker and specialized in maintenance. John had a love for the outdoors, especially spending time fishing. With his extensive knowledge of maintenance and with fixing things, he also enjoyed working on cars in his free time.

He is survived by his sons, Brian (wife, Luz) Goble and Tony Goble (Caitlyn Ritter-Goble); sister, Melody (husband, Andy) Hoban; nephew, Heath Goble; niece, Sarah Adams (Joey Tucker); nephew, Dusty (wife, Summer) Adams.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Mike Goble and Joe Goble.
