John F Collins

John F. Collins, 58, of Edinburgh passed away Friday, February 4, 2022 at his residence.

He was born November 24, 1963 in Jenkins, KY to Troy Collins and Gloria (Powers) Collins.

John graduated in 1982 from Triton Central High School. He was employed at Knauf.

He loved being outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.  He enjoyed the times he was able to be out on his Harley.  John loved getting together with friends, but his favorite times were spent with his family and loved ones.

John is survived by his parents, his daughters, Stacia Winkler, Britta Pierce (husband, Nick); Tiffany Collins; Olivia Collins; his grandchildren, Brooklyn Winkler, Elly Winkler, Lillyan Winkler, Raydon Wells, Bryson Pierce, Arizona King, Gabriel James, and Sakaya James, his sister, Marlene Mohr; his nephew, Colt Mullins, and his niece, Chrissi Ronan.  Also his daughter, Kaylea James, (husband, BJ)

He was preceded in death by his niece, Candice Gilles.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m, Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

Funeral services will follow at 5 p.m., at the funeral home with Reverend Jim Stephens, officiating.

Burial will be in Miller Cemetery at a later date.
