John E. Bush

John E. Bush, 67, of Flat Rock died Sunday, June 28, 2009, at St. Francis Hospital South Campus, Indianapolis. Born March 9, 1942, in Fairland, he was the son of William W. and Marian H. (Collins) Bush. Survivors include his brothers, Donald Bush of Flat Rock and Larry Bush of Shelbyville; and sister, Nora Ann Leach of Flat Rock. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Charles "Chuck" Bush and Richard Bush; and nephew, Russell "Rusty" Bush. Mr. Bush had been employed with Lear Corp. in Edinburgh, retiring in 2004. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 70 and several bowling leagues. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. George Plantz officiating.
