Jimmy Dean Nicely

Jimmy Dean Nicely, 32, of Shelbyville died Wednesday, June 18, 2008. Born Aug. 18, 1975, in Indianapolis, he was the son of Jimmy James Nicely and Shelly Harris. He married Athena Crews, and she survives. Other survivors include his mother and stepfather, Gary Harris of Indianapolis; father of Hobbs, N.M.; daughters, Destiney Renee Nicely of Indianapolis, Suzanna Faith Nicely of Tampa, Fla., and Trinity Nicely of Shelbyville; and girlfriend, Christina Kruse of Shelbyville. He was preceded in death by his son, Jimmy Nicely Jr.; and brother, Michael Nicely. Mr. Nicely was a painter employed with Thomas Denny Painting Co. Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St. Funeral services will be at 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Greenlawn Cemetery in Darlington.
