Jimmie Ping
September 14, 1943 — January 10, 2019
Jimmie Ping, 75, of Shelbyville, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2019 at his residence.
He was born September 14, 1943 in Somerset, KY to Claude O. Ping and Edith (Eaton) Ping.
He is survived by his nephew, George (Tammy) Palmer; niece, Tabitha (Lonnie) Stanford; several great-nephews and nieces; and several great-great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister.
Jimmie was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Jimmie was a member of the American Letion, VFW and Eagle Lodges.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, January 15, 2019 in the Heroes of Honor and Glory section at Whispering Hope Memorial Gardens and Crematory.
