Jesse Cole Smith

Jesse Cole Smith, 22, a resident of Manilla, died Monday, July 25, 2016, in an automobile accident.

Born April 18, 1994, in Franklin, he was the son of Mark Smith and Amy (Lyke) Smith.

He is survived by his parents; daughter, Julia Derringer; maternal grandmother, Vicki Lyke; and paternal grandfather, James Smith.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Paul "Woodie" Lyke; and paternal grandmother, Dorothy Smith.

Jesse loved to fish and being outside, and spending time with family and friends.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. July 29, 2016, from at Murphy-Parks Funeral Services,

703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, IN 46176.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 30, 2016, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Brandon Sutton officiating.

Burial will be at Van Pelt Cemetery in Waldron.

Memorial donations may be given to the funeral home to help with expenses.
