Jennene Scott-Gahimer

Jennene Scott-Gahimer, 42, of Indianapolis, died Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at Wishard Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born Sept. 14, 1969, in Shelbyville to Glenn Dale Scott and the late Patricia Ann Pennington. Survivors include her father and stepmother Barbara Scott of Alabama; daughter, Lillian Gahimer of Blue Ridge; sister, Robin ( husband , Jeff) Hughes of Tennessee; brother, Joshua Scott of Georgia; half-brother, Andrew Scott of Virginia; aunts, Connie (husband, David) Persinger, Becky Moffett; and uncle, Steve (wife, Peggy) Pennington. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Dale Scott. Jennene attended Hope's Point Church and enjoyed crafts and flowers.. Jennene's inspiration for life was her daughter, Lillian. Their special saying to each other was, "I love you to the moon and back." The Tony Gahimer family was truly an inspiration and blessing to her. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, June 3, 2012, at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service & Crematory, 703 S. Harrison St. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, June 4, 2012, at the funeral home with the Rev. Edwin Mohr officiating. Burial will be at Miller Cemetery.
