Survivors include sons: William Pursley and wife, Bunrueng, of Shelbyville; and Donnie Pursley of Shelbyville; daughters: Mary Smith and husband, Doug, of Edinburgh; and Peggy Spaw and husband, Jimmy, of Morristown; companion, Richard Wayne Phares of Fairland; sister, Leona Craig and husband, Jessie, of Shelbyville; brother, Lonnie Anders and wife, Connie, of Shelbyville; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son; great-grandson, Justin Spaw; two brothers; and one sister.

Mrs. Pursley was a homemaker.

She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 70, Eagles Lodge and was known as "Egg Lady" on CB radio.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22, 2014, at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service & Crematory, 703 S. Harrison St. American Legion Auxiliary Rites will be conducted by the Unit 70 Memorial Team at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Joseph Smith officiating.

Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville.
