Janet Kay (Mark) Winkler

Janet Kay Winkler, 65, of Shelbyville, died Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012, at Ashford Place Health Campus in Shelbyville. She was born Sept. 17, 1946, in Shelbyville to Rolland J. and Virginia (Hildebrand) Mark. She married Ronnie Ray Winkler on Sept. 11, 1965, and he survives in Shelbyville. Other survivors include sons Anthony (wife, Angela) Winkler, Benjamin (wife, Kileen) Winkler and Matthew (wife, Kimberly) Winkler, all of Shelbyville; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother. Janet was a homemaker. She member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Shelbyville. She worked for the Fashion Factory Outlet for 10 years and enjoyed reading and making ceramics. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012, at Murphy-Parks Funeral Home, 703 S. Harrison St. Rosary will be recited at 3:30 p.m. Sunday. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 17, 2012, at the funeral home with Father John Maung officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Church cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Hospice of South Central Indiana in Janet's honor.
