James Robert Hellums, Jr.

James Robert Hellums, Jr., 44, of Shelbyville, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2015, in Flat Rock.
He was born Jan. 26, 1971, to Suesanne (Hoff) Burris in Greenfield.
Survivors include his parents, Dennis and Suesanne Burris of Shelbyville; daughters, Leah Hellums, Linzie Hellums and Lacey Hellums; brother, Todd Hellums and wife, Nikki, of Greenfield; and nieces and nephews, Tyler Hellums, Regan Hellums, Timothy Higgins and Taylor Higgins.
Mr. Hellums worked as a painter.
He enjoyed fishing. He was a gifted mechanic and a man of all trades.
There will be no public services.
