James Melvin Alexander

James M. Alexander, 69, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at MHP Medical Center.

He was born May 18, 1953 in Greensburg, IN to Charles Alexander and Geneva (Straber) Alexander.

James was a manager at Kroger for 40 plus years before retiring.

He enjoyed woodworking and was an avid fan of Indiana Basketball and the Chicago Bears football   team.  He loved to fish.

James is survived by his son Jeremy Alexander of Shelbyville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Jerry Alexander, Jack Alexander, and John Alexander.
