Heather Marie Smith

Heather Marie (Cass) Smith, 38, of Fairland, passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at her residence.

She was born April 29, 1985 to Leonard Cass and Robin (Wood) Cass.

Heather graduated from Morristown High School in 2003.

She was a member of Fountaintown Christian Church.  She had a love for gardening and raising flowers.  Heather also loved animals, coloring and singing.  She enjoyed going on motorcycle rides with her husband.  Heather was a homemaker and her favorite job was being a mother.  She cherished all the times she was able to spend with her family.

She married Jedadiah M. Smith on July 29, 2006.  They shared 17 wonderful years together and he survives.

Heather is also survived by her parents, sons, Tristen Smith and Samual Smith; brothers, Robert (wife, Veronica) Cass, Richard (wife, Wendy) Cass; sister, Rhonda Cass; sister-in-law, Shea (Smith) Reisinger (husband, John) and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cheyenne Smith.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 29, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral with Pastor Michael Smith officiating.

Burial will be in Fairland Cemetery.
