Heather Nicole Mckinney

Heather Nicole McKinney, 22, of Homer passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022.

She was born January 19, 1999 in Virginia Beach, VA to Jeremiah McKinney, Sr. and Melissa (Moore) McKinney.

Heather's life revolved around her children.  She was a great Mom and her greatest joy was spending time with and taking care of her babies.  She had a passion for art and photography and also a love for music.

Heather is survived by her parents, her daughter, Penelope Nicole, her son, Kingston Cole, her daughter, Estelle Ann, her fiancé, Matt Grider, her sisters, Rachel, Ariel, and Rebecca, her brothers, Jeremiah, Jr., and Edward, several nieces and nephews, her maternal grandparents, James and Cathy Moore, and Karen Moore, and her paternal grandmother, Susan McKinney, her future mother-in-law and father-in-law, Kimberly Wagner and Jard Grider.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Vernon McKinney and paternal grandmother, Teresa Qualls.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., Friday, January 21, 2022 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Services, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

Funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. with her grandmother, Susan McKinney officiating.
