Heather Diane Bender-Sansing

Heather Diane Bender-Sansing, 34, of Shelbyville, passed away Saturday, July 10, 2021 at MHP Medical Center.

She was born September 3, 1986 in Shelbyville to Douglas Dwayne Bender and J. Chantal Merritt.

She was a caregiver for My Care at Home.  Heather was a member of Living Water Apostolic Church.  She enjoyed reading, writing, journaling and horseback riding.  Spending time with her family was her greatest joy.

She married John T. Sansing on June 19, 2021, and he survives.

Heather is also survived by her daughters, Hallie Bender, Kennedie Bender and Zoey Bender, her parents, Chantal (husband, Mike) Merritt and Douglas (wife, Ruth) Bender; her mother-in-law, Kala Murphy; her grandmother, Carolyn Bender, her step-brother, Jared Ebbing; her step-sisters, Kayla Harpring, and Jenni Merritt; her sister-in-law, Jade Sansing; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at the funeral home with Reverend Billy Lambert officiating.

Burial will be in Hebron Cemetery

Funeral Directors, Greg Parks, Sheila Parks, and Stuart Parks are honored to serve Heather's family.

Memorial contributions may be given to Shelby County Cancer Association for Breast Cancer patients.
