Gertrude Mae Aulby, 77 of Somerset, KY passed away on Friday, April 08, 2016, at  Jean Waddle Hospice Care Center Somerset KY.

Born Wednesday, November 02, 1938 in Somerset, KY, She was the Daughter of Earsey Godbey and Dona (Brinson) VanHook.

Gertrude married James P. Aulby   on Tuesday, December 27, 1955 and passed away on August 9, 1975

Gertrude is survived by  Son - James Dale(Linda) Aulby, Shelbyville, IN, Daughter - Rebecca (Richard) McVey, St. Paul, IN, Daughter - Carol Sue Shadley, Somerset, KY, Sister - Geraldine(Glen) Cook, Somerset, KY, Daughter - Sandra (Mike) Theobald, Monticello, KY, Brother - Seldom Dykes, Somerset, KY, Brother - Jessie Dykes, Somerset, KY, Brother - Johnny(Goldie) Dykes, Seymour, IN, Brother - Damon(Penny) Dykes, Westport, IN, Brother - Dennis(Penny) Dykes, Elizabethtown, IN, Grandchildren - Randall Johnson, MaDonna Bargrover,  Michael Ray Pike,  Joshua Scroggham, Donald Bowman, James D. Aulby Jr. 20 Great grandchildren, 11 Great-great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by Daughters: Tina Bratton and  Rhonda Aulby,

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 12, 2016 from  4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2016 11:00 AM  Shelbyville.

Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery Shelbyville IN.

Memorials may be given to Gertrude Aulby funeral expenses fund in care of the funeral home.
