Gerrell 'Gene' Tucker, Jr.

Gerrell 'Gene' Tucker, Jr. 50, passed away, Sunday, October 14, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family and friends.

He was born December 17, 1967 in Bellaire, OH to Gerrell Eugene Tucker, Sr. and Gloria May (Bain) Tucker.

Gene is survived by his mother, sister, Sherry Tucker, niece, Vida Tucker, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Gene was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.  He was employed at Ryobi.  Gene enjoyed classical music.  He played the saxophone and organ.  He loved the arts in general. Gerrell loved his family and church family, but loved his Lord most of all.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, October 19, 2018 at the First Church of the Nazarene, 2315 S. Riley Highway, Shelbyville, IN.

Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the church with Dr. Stephen Bohall officiating.

Burial will be in the Heroes of Honor and Glory Veteran's Section within Whispering Hope Memorial Gardens.  Military rites will be conducted by local veteran organizations.

Funeral Directors, Greg, Sheila, and Stuart Parks are honored to serve the Tucker family.
