Genard Erwin Foxx

Genard "Erwin" Foxx, 63, of Shelbyville passed away Saturday, April 11, 2020 at MHP Medical Center.

He was born April 16, 1956 in Shelbyville to Woodrow Foxx and Loretta M. (Finley) Foxx.

He is survived by his sisters, Amy Foxx and Brenda Chappelow and Uncle Lee Finley, and a special friend, Shirley Bailey.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Jeff Foxx and Mark Foxx and sister, Carla Jo Burdine.

Erwin was employed as a painter and in lawn care maintenance.

He enjoyed watching movies.  He loved fishing, going for rides and listening to music.

Visitation will be Monday, April 20, 2020 from 11 a.m. to Noon at Murphy-Parks Funeral Services, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

Funeral services will follow at Noon at the funeral home with Reverend Brandon Sutton officiating.

Due to COVID-10 guidelines, only 10 people will be allowed in the funeral home at a given time.  Funeral home staff will enforce social distancing and monitor the number of people in the building.

Burial will be in Manilla Cemetery.  The public is invited to attend and must follow COVID-19 guidelines.  If you get out of your car stand 6 feet apart.  You are welcome to stay in your car if you choose.
